Rita was born and raised in Post. Rita is a retired employee of Norwest Bank. She has served as Financial Secretary since 2001. Rita has a daughter, Patti May and a son, Ricky Nelson and two grandchildren, Katrina May and Jennifer Nelson. When not working, Rita volunteers at UMC-Lubbock. She also enjoys crocheting and loves to travel.
